You will need:
Salt
sidewalk chalk
container
paper
First step is to pour salt on a piece of paper.
Next, rub chalk in salt until it is colored.
Use paper to pour colored salt into containers.
These leftover jelly jars worked great. The kids loved seeing the layers and experimenting with new colors. Kept them busy for quite a while;)

Great idea Wendy. I had no idea this would work. Plus I have so many mason jars, I was wondering what to do with them.
